Every plan gets the same data: exchange rates, inflation, GDP, interest rates, commodities, Apple and subscription prices. Plans differ in how many requests you can make.

Questions

What counts as a request?
Each call to /v1. Successful calls count toward your included requests and overage. Every call, errors included, counts toward the per-minute and monthly limits. Limits are per account: all your API keys share them.
What happens when I reach my limit?
On Free, requests stop until the 1st of next month. On Starter and Pro, you can keep going at the overage price up to the monthly maximum, then requests stop until the 1st. If you'd rather not pay for overage, turn it off or set a monthly spend limit in the dashboard. Requests then stop when you reach it, with an error that says why.
When am I billed?
Monthly, on the day you subscribed. Your request allowance resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). Overage is charged per request and added to your next bill.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes, any time from the dashboard. Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
Where does the data come from?
Public sources, named in every response. Much of it is free of charge from the publisher: exchange rates come from the European Central Bank and other central banks (via Frankfurter), and the IMF publishes its CPI, interest rate and commodity data for free. You're paying for the API (one format, full history, kept up to date), not the data. BIS policy rates are included in every plan at no extra charge. The API docs list each source's terms.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet. Every plan is billed monthly and you can cancel any time.
